Suffolk Stop Smoking
Service provides help to stop smoking to anyone living or registered
with a GP in Suffolk.
Help can be accessed in
different ways and is offered on a 1:1 or in a group setting. 1:1
support is commonly available at GP surgeries. Group support is offered
by dedicated stop smoking advisors in a number of venues throughout
the county. Whatever the method of support, treatment with nicotine
replacement therapy or zyban is offered on prescription following
an assessment. The only cost to the individual is the prescription
charge, unless they are exempt.
